Data deletion

Last updated: October 21, 2026

Vice Protocol: The VI Hub ("the App") does not require an account. This page explains how to request deletion of data we may hold related to your installation, including push notification records and Meta advertising measurement data.

Push token and notification preferences

If you enabled notifications, the App may store an Expo push token and related installation / preference records (for example news and launch reminder categories) in our Supabase backend so we can deliver remote or local alerts you opted into.

To request deletion of your push token and related installation or preference rows, email luanderson.engsoftware@gmail.com from a reachable address and include:

Your device model, iOS version, approximate install date if known, and that you want push / installation data deleted. We will delete matching records we can identify and confirm by email. You can also turn off notifications in iOS Settings and in the App’s Settings screen; that stops new deliveries but does not by itself erase server-side tokens until we process a deletion request.

Meta / advertising measurement data

On the App Store production build, the App may use the Meta (Facebook) SDK to measure app-install advertising performance. That can involve an advertising identifier when you allow tracking via Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. Development and preview builds do not initialize the Meta SDK.

To request deletion of Meta advertising measurement data associated with your installation, email luanderson.engsoftware@gmail.com and state that you want Meta / advertising measurement data deleted. We will process the request for data under our control and guide you on any steps Meta provides for advertising identifiers. You can also revoke tracking permission anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
